We specialise in medical underwriting, which means we have extensive knowledge of the best insurers for each type of medical condition.
When you apply for any type of life insurance, you’re required to complete a medical history review application. This is where you disclose your medical history, including any conditions, investigations or treatment you have, or have had.
You may also need to complete medical tests and reports to obtain cover.
This can be a bewildering process, because different insurance providers take different positions on each type of condition.
Without the proper guidance, you could end up with exclusions on your policy or more expensive premiums… when you do not have to.
Our in-house medical underwriting process means that instead of the insurance provider collecting your medical data, we do.
We can provide you with your results and medical data, where this normally would not be provided by the insurance provider.
We anonymise your data and then bid it out to the market to achieve the best terms in the market. This protects you and achieves the best terms in the market.
Once we have achieved best terms, we then confirm this to you before submitting any application.
This process ensures that any client with a complex medical history, high net worth clients, or clients that require medicals to be performed, are taken through a bespoke medical underwriting pathway to ensure best terms for their insurance is achieved.

The Reality Check
Only 1 in 3 UK adults has life insurance
Even fewer have income protection or critical illness cover
Yet most of us insure our phones, cars, and homes without thinking twice
Your ability to earn is your most valuable asset.
Protecting it isn't pessimistic - it's practical.
Here's something most people don't know:
If you're a business owner with a family, you don't have to choose between protecting your business and protecting your loved ones.
The most effective protection does both - and it's more tax-efficient than you might think.
When you run protection policies through your business, you're not just protecting your company. You're protecting yourself, your income, your family, and your future - all while offsetting premiums against corporation tax.
That's holistic advice.
That's Life Is Too Short.
Whether you're looking to protect your family, your business, or both, Georgia is here to help you understand your options and find the right protection for your unique situation.

Life insurance (also called life cover) is a contract between you and a UK life insurance provider. You pay monthly premiums, and if you die while the policy is active, the insurer pays a lump sum (called a death benefit) to your chosen beneficiaries. This payout can help protect your family, clear debts, and support long-term financial security.
Life insurance provides financial support to your loved ones if you die. It can help cover funeral costs, repay a mortgage, clear debts, replace lost income, fund children’s education, and help your family maintain their lifestyle. Many people choose life insurance as part of family protection insurance and mortgage protection planning.
The most common types of life insurance include:
Term life insurance (UK): Cover for a set period (for example 10, 20 or 30 years). Often the most affordable option.
Whole of life insurance: Permanent life insurance that lasts your whole life and may build cash value.
Universal life insurance: Permanent cover with flexible premiums and a cash value element (availability and features vary by provider).
Critical illness cover (UK) is an insurance policy that pays a lump sum if you’re diagnosed with a serious illness covered by the policy, such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke. It’s designed to reduce the financial impact of a major diagnosis, so you can focus on recovery.
Private health insurance helps pay for private medical treatment (consultations, tests, surgery).
Critical illness insurance pays you a cash lump sum to use however you need — for example to cover your mortgage, household bills, time off work, travel for treatment, or childcare.
Cover varies by insurer, but critical illness policies commonly include conditions such as:
🖤 Cancer
🖤 Heart attack
🖤 Stroke
🖤 Major organ transplant
🖤 Kidney failure
🖤 Multiple sclerosis
Always check the policy’s definitions and the full list of covered conditions, as wording matters.
Private health insurance (UK) helps cover the cost of private healthcare, such as specialist consultations, diagnosis, treatment and hospital stays, depending on your policy. It’s often used to access treatment faster than NHS waiting times for eligible conditions.
No – private health insurance is optional because the NHS provides healthcare to UK residents. People choose private cover for faster access, more choice of hospitals/consultants, and private facilities, especially for elective treatment.
Most policies typically cover:
🖤 Specialist consultations
🖤 Diagnostic tests (MRI, X-rays, scans)
🖤 Surgery and hospital treatment
🖤 Cancer treatment (often included, but varies)
Many insurers offer optional extras such as mental health support and physiotherapy.
Shareholder protection insurance (UK) provides funds so the remaining shareholders can buy the shares of a shareholder who dies (and sometimes becomes critically ill). It helps keep control of the business with the right people, while providing a fair payout to the shareholder’s family or estate.
Key person protection (keyman insurance) pays a lump sum to the business if a key employee, director, or owner dies or becomes critically ill. It can help cover lost profits, recruitment costs, business continuity, or repay business loans linked to that key person.
Key person insurance: Protects the business against loss of a vital person (profits, stability, continuity).
Shareholder protection: Protects ownership and control by funding a share buyout after death/serious illness.
